Talks (clubs, groups, associations, institutes)
presentations How do owls turn their heads through 270 degrees in either direction?

Most people don't know a lot about British or foreign raptors - the owls, hawks and falcons, but our talks change that.

Presentations include a slide show and, when possible, a live bird which the audience can handle, photograph and even fly if the room is suitable.

This is usually an owl - hawks need more space.

the barn owl The presentation focuses on British owls, and in particular the Barn Owl. These avian predators experienced a dramatic reduction in numbers but thanks to the work of conservationists and sympathetic farmers, are gradually recovering .

The presentation lasts about an hour with another hour set aside for interaction with the sudience.

wildlife presentationWe'll cover the life cycle of the Barn Owl, it's habitat and hunting techniques. By the end you'll certainly know more about owls than 99.9% of the population.

On the folding table, is Amber, a Bengal Eagle Owl. The audience is safe because unlike the hawks, Amber poops downwards not sideways.

Prices for presentations start at £60.00
